July 19th and Saturday July 20th Held in conjunction with the IAMA Free Folk and Bluegrass Festival. This year’s instructors include Steve Seskin, Amy Speace, and Kate MacLeod. This is an extensive two-day workshop for songwriters and performers of all levels and is open to anyone 16 years of age and up. Friday (9:00 AM – 11:00 PM) All day instruction with simultaneous workshops on various songwriting and performing topics personally tailored, as well as personal song critiques by writing and performing experts. Other Friday activities will include a brown bag lunch and an Open Mic later in the evening. Saturday (9:00 AM - 10:00 PM) Additional critiques and a comprehensive Q&A with all three of our featured instructors (9:00 AM – 11:00 AM). Students will be encouraged to attend the 2013 Susanne Millsaps Performing Songwriter Showcase (11:00 AM – 1:00 PM) and The IAMA Free Folk and Bluegrass Festival (1:00– 10:00 PM.)
