A note from Steve and Ellen Seskin:
Hey everyone! We really love reading your posts on this page, but lately my schedule hasn't allowed me to respond to all the messages here, even though I DO read them all. :) Your questions and comments are important to me and I want to make sure that you don't feel forgotten.

From now on, Ellen will be helping me keep up with these posts. She'll answer whatever you want to know, and if there's something she can't answer, she'll find out from me. If you want a personal reply, please leave your email address. Otherwise, replies will appear on this page.

I truly appreciate all the support, either communicated to me or not, that I have gotten from you through all these years. Without you, my music would not be the same!

Hi Steve, We really enjoyed your performance here in Colorado Springs. Even my 14 year old daughter was singing along to your cd on the way home. Your songs tell great stories that can put a tear in your eye one minute and have you laughing the next. Thank You, it was an honor!

Marg,

I'm pretty sure Steve played in Arizona before, but it was quite a while ago. I'll make sure he knows you were asking. 20 years, wow - doesn't it make you feel old? (It sure makes me feel old!)

Try not to let the politics bother you. Follow your heart, and do what you think is right. No one can fault you for that.

Hi Dave!

I'm not sure when Steve's next trip to Missouri will be, but if you're signed up to receive his schedule (or just check this website) it'll be posted when it does happen.

I'm so glad you enjoyed seeing Steve perform. There aren't any other dates booked in SLC at this point, but keep checking his schedule - I'm sure he'll be back again!

Hi Steve and Ellen! So nice to find your website...I've been a fan for 20+ years. You've truly had a wonderful influence on my life as well as many other friends...just getting us thru this thing we call life :-). THANKS for all you do for everyone! Please think about a concert in Phoenix when it cools down! We could use your music, humor and love here in a town troubled by recent events and media. It would be wonderful to have an event that brings people together versus tries to divide folks! Thanks for everything...a big fan.

Hey Steve and Ellen,
I saw you (Steve) at Snowbird on Saturday the 10th of July. Great show! Then, I ran into you in the Pharmacy/Gift shop. I can't hear the encore you played Saturday on a CD.
Come back to Salt Lake soon. We should jam!

Wow, two years ago - thanks for writing! Steve will be thrilled to know that you still think about him. I remember when he came home from your school and played the song he wrote with your students. I really thought it was great.

The lyrics to most of the older school songs aren't on the website, but I'll have to type the lyrics to this and get them posted - it really is a wonderful song!

Wow, I'm sorry you've been sick for so long! I think the album you're talking about is "This Good Tonight." Unfortunately, it's so old that it hasn't been transferred from record to computer. Is there another older recording you'd like to have? I do have most of the others, and I'd be happy to send you a copy. Please let me know.

So glad you enjoyed the show! Usually, when Steve goes to schools he has other reasons to be in that area. But this trip, he came to New York just to be at your school!

Two years have passed since Steve visited Ogallala High School. Going through some files, I found a recording of the song Steve helped my students right. This is a great memory I will take with me always. The opportunity for these kids to be creative was wonderful! Thanks for the lasting memories Steve.

I so enjoyed the concert you gave at our school & wanted to tell you what a great thing you are doing for kids all across our great nation. My granddaughter participated with her class in "If One Goes Down" & was so excited & overjoyed with the whole experience. What an inspiration you are to so many.

Dear Steve,
I've been sick for sometime now. Your music has helped me, especially your album I believe it was called Tis Tonight. My ex boyfriend gave me your album I recorded it on a tape. The record got broken and the tape got worn out. So unfortualy I don't have the music from that album anymore. I would pay any price for a copy of that album. It really did help me sooth my sickness. So Thank you Steve for your music.
Sincerely,
Becki

Hey Richard, thanks so much for your post! We still get calls and letters from people telling us about how they heard our song. My heart almost broke a few weeks ago when I saw a YouTube video of a young girl singing Don't Laugh At Me.

There actually is a Spanish version of the book - no French as of yet, but if there's a demand I'm sure it will happen.

This Song and Childrens Book is Outstanding!!!

Check out the Face Book Hits.

Just recently local Individual Schools are starting to promote your work to the primary/junior students and it works.

Once the children (even as young as 4) are introduced to "Don't Laugh at Me" it touches there inner self, they learn the lyrics and sing it for days.

Schools even have student assemblies to
promote these messages.

We all carry a similar history in this regard throughout life.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to share this more.

I seriously wish I could personally promote your message to all Children in Hospitals and Schools in Canada.

How about a French and Spanish Version.

I may be able to get help on the French version.

Great work

(First of all, I LOVE your name!)

Sorry it took so long to get the song up. Steve has been so busy, he can't always post them right away. It's there now, though, so download it, and brag to your friends that you helped write it!

Thanks for writing, Kaylee - Steve is always so happy to hear from the kids after he visits a school. I don't think he'll be back this year, but maybe next year - you can ask your teacher or principal if they know.
