A note from Steve and Ellen Seskin:
Hey everyone! We really love reading your posts on this page, but lately my schedule hasn't allowed me to respond to all the messages here, even though I DO read them all. :) Your questions and comments are important to me and I want to make sure that you don't feel forgotten.

From now on, Ellen will be helping me keep up with these posts. She'll answer whatever you want to know, and if there's something she can't answer, she'll find out from me. If you want a personal reply, please leave your email address. Otherwise, replies will appear on this page.

I truly appreciate all the support, either communicated to me or not, that I have gotten from you through all these years. Without you, my music would not be the same!

Thanks for writing, Kaylee - Steve is always so happy to hear from the kids after he visits a school. I don't think he'll be back this year, but maybe next year - you can ask your teacher or principal if they know.

Thanks for coming to Portland. Was great to see you again. Are you still interested in the Nashville numbers video we talked about? I have it in DVD and quicktime format.
Thanks for the opportunity!

Thanks so much for writing and letting us know how much your girls enjoyed their time with Steve. It's so great when the kids really "get it" and strive to get along with others. Wouldn't it be great if, someday, programs like DLAM became unnecessary?!

Steve will be so happy to hear that his song has inspired another great school program. What a great way to get the kids involved - the ones who become your Ambassadors should be proud of themselves. Thanks so much for doing your part and letting us know.

Wow, you guys, thanks so much for writing. Steve had a great time performing and writing songs with you - he called me almost every day to tell me what you'd written. Keep working in school - and keep singing!

Dear Mr. Seskin
I like all of your songs. My favorite is "School Spirit". I like the chorus and the bridge.

The message is THANK YOU for your DLAM song. As the social worker at the school I was familiar with the DLAM program but was looking for a version to sing with the students. I started my own program ( called Ambassador's of Peace) and incorporate your song into all of our assemblies. There are 7 fifth graders who promote peace within the school (they have to interview at the end of 4th grade) doing Character Ed. and DLAM curriculum as well as mentoring and community service. The song never fails to leave the entire gym full of students speechless! Hopefully, you will tour in CT someday and I will take the Ambassador's of Peace to see you! Keep up the good work- as it says in my office "Peace through Music"! Cindy Sultini

Steve,
You were at Walnut Grove Elem. on friday 3/12/2010, my daughters had such a great time they talked about you all weekend they told me go to your website and download music for their ipods. My daughters teacher informed us that you were going to be at VSAA. We were there, front row!! It warms my heart to hear my girls sing your songs. Keep up the great work, you are a positive inspiration, exactly what this world needs and you are making a difference, our children are the leaders of tomorrow...
