Steve spent most of February in Nashville writing new songs. He's off to NJ and NY the first half of March to do school performances and then returns for an all request show on March 19th as part of the Lighted Window Concert Series. Steve will sing any of his songs that you'd like to hear...providing you ask for it by March 14th so he has time to relearn it! Send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. It’s Steve's first time at this venue and he hopes to see lots of folks there!
Steve will be returning to Nashville in January for the annual Songcrafting Seminar at the Bluebird Cafe.
This unique and intimate gathering features two full days of lectures, workshops, critiques, performances, and a publisher presentation that will totally change the way you look at songwriting.
This year's seminar includes very special first-time guests Tony Arata (Garth Brooks's "The Dance"), Crystal Bowersox (American Idol runner-up), Lance Carpenter (Kelsea Ballerini's "Love Me Like You Mean It"), and publishing legend, Robin Palmer.
Seminar participants have the opportunity to submit one song for complimentary review by Steve. 6-10 of the songs submitted will be chosen to be critiqued during the seminar.
Arts and music journalist Kathy Strain caught up with Steve and Seth during the Kerrville Folk Festival and asked them about how they met and their creative processes.
"Any good co-write situation, you gotta complement each other and it doesn't always happen but, it happened with us. And every time we've gotten together, there's been something..."
