Saturday, May 5th & Sunday, May 6th in Los Angeles, California - Steve Seskin and Pat Pattison will join forces at the Musicians Institute and present a two day intensive workshop sharing their knowledge and passion for writing songs. Over the course of the weekend there will be interactive lectures on melody writing and many facets of lyric writing such as imagery/emotion, point of view, rewriting, rhyming and metaphor, inspiration and dealing with "writer's block."

The hours will be 9:30 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday. The cost of the workshop is $250 total for both days. There is a $50 discount for members of TAXI, NSAI, WCS, ASCAP, BMI and JUST PLAIN FOLKS. If you're a member of another Los Angeles songwriting organization please mention it when registering and the discount may apply.
