Songcrafting Seminar Registration

16th Annual Songcrafting Seminar at the Bluebird Cafe
Friday, January 24th - Sunday, January 26th 2020

This unique and intimate gathering features two full days of lectures, workshops, critiques, concerts, and a performance presentation that will totally change the way you look at songwriting and performing. To learn more about possible topics to be covered, click here.

Workshops run from 9:00-4:30 Saturday and Sunday at the Bluebird Cafe, with a break for lunch from noon to 1pm. (There are numerous restaurants nearby.) The Bluebird is set up with a nice sound system and has natural light streaming in during the day.

The seminar features lots of lectures by Steve Seskin (writer of seven #1 records), and special guests each day including one of Nashville's most sought-after songwriters, Allen Shamblin, #1 hit songwriter, "I Can't Make You Love Me," "Don't Laugh At Me," "The House That Built Me," "Life's A Dance and many more will be joining us this year. Tom Douglas will also join us for a session on Saturday and at the Saturday evening concert at the Bluebird Cafe. Tom has written many hits including "Grown Men Don't Cry" "Love's The Only House," Little Rock," "I Run To You," Meanwhile Back At Mama's" and "Southern Voice."

Allen and Tom also penned the latest single from Pink and Chris Stapleton, "Love me Anyway." They are two writers I respect greatly, masters of their craft and very adept at verbalizing what they know to other writers. For more info on them, go to www.allenshamblin.com and www.tomdouglasmusic.com.

I'm also excited to announce that Amy Speace will be joining us on Sunday to talk about writing as well as conduct a performance workshop that will blow your mind if you're a performer. We will choose 3 or 4 people for her to work with but trust me everyone will benefit from watching her work. For more info on Amy, go to www.amyspeace.com.

We have a limited amount of spots for the seminar, so register now to make sure you get your spot!
