This unique and intimate gathering features two full days of lectures, workshops, critiques, performances, and a publisher presentation that will totally change the way you look at songwriting.
Workshops run from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday at the Bluebird Cafe,with a break for lunch from noon to 1pm. (There are numerous restaurants nearby.) The Bluebird is set up with a nice sound system and has natural light streaming in during the day.
The seminar features lots of lectures by Steve Seskin (writer of seven #1 records) and special guests each day including one of Nashville's most sought-after songwriters, Brandy Clark #1 hit songwriter, and cutting edge artist and Mark Irwin writer of many #1s for Tim McGraw, Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift, Tyler Farr and others. Our special publisher guest will be Rusty Gaston from This Music, home to many hit writers such as Jessi Alexander and JT Harding. There are also two concerts that are part of the weekend festivities.
Friday Jan 25th Concert atDouglas Corner Cafe - 6:00 pm. Tickets: $12, free for workshop participants. An ITR performance with Steve Seskin, Jamie Floyd, Mark Irwin and Mary Bragg.
Saturday Jan 26th Concert at The Bluebird Cafe - 9:30 pm. Tickets: $20, this is a benefit for Alive Hospice so it is not included in seminar price. Concert features Steve Seskin, Brandy Clark, Allen Shamblin and Steve Poltz.
