Custom Songs: Foundations

The right song can bring attention to your effort to spread a message and/or mission statement to the world. Here are some examples Steve has created.

When You Lose Someone Like That

Commissioned by Jena Kirkpatrick for Evermore and to honor the loss of her son.

Steve went above and beyond when writing a song especially for our cause. Evermore is a national organization advancing bereavement care for all Americans. “When You Lose Someone Like That” was played at our inaugural summit and thousands of people listened to it. The response was overwhelming. People wept, they sent emails stating how the lyrics spoke so eloquently to the deep missing of someone. A family played it at their loved ones funeral. Steve honored everyone’s loss all at once with this song. We are forever grateful for his talent.
— Joyal Mulheron, Founder and Director of Evermore

That Kind Of Man written for Edward Adams, author of Reinventing Masculinity - The Liberating Power of Compassion and Connection Commissioned by Harvey Rich from the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation

Whenever I hear That Kind of Man I am drawn in to sing it with you. Thank you Steve for such a thoughtful and heartfelt song.
— John McCosby

Don’t Laugh At Me This song is used by Operation Respect, www.operationrespect.org as the centerpiece to their anti bullying curriculum, promoting kindness, respect, friendship, and being of service.
