Acoustic Concerts

A Steve Seskin concert will have you wiping away a tear one minute and laughing out loud the next. His songs all have messages that touch the hearts of everyone: from the feelings of a little boy missing his father, to growing up and being true to yourself, to one of his most well known themes of being considerate to and respectful of one another as expressed in "Don’t Laugh at Me."

Many of his songs have been recorded by singers far more famous than him but most people maintain that you haven't really heard a Steve Seskin song until you hear him sing it. He has performed at large concert halls like Town Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York and many folk festivals such as Vancouver, Canmore, Kerrville and Rocky Mountain Folks Fest. He also enjoys singing at intimate venues like the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse as well as house concerts all over the country.

The one thing that's easy to tell when you see Steve Seskin in concert is that he really enjoys what he does. From the moment he takes the stage, the audience comes first and make no mistake, he's out to move you.

Seskin has the gift of song...his voice has a natural lilt that can’t be learned. The combination of musicianship and repertoire make for a rich and satisfying musical experience.
